It didnt take long before fruit started to grow
These Yellow Strawberry plants were started from seeds in May 2009, largely ignored until July when they where moved into COCO GRO bags and put on a 2 X 4 Flood Table. Given a variety of light including natural, Northern exposure, 1000W Dual Arc HID, and recently 4 X 4′ HOT5’s with a mix of spectrum bulbs.
The nutrient in the system has been Botanicare’s PureBlend Pro Grow, Liquid Karma, SilcaBlast, Cal-Mag and AquaShield.
After 3 short weeks they are starting to produce fruit and runners. Considerable growth has been observed.
A straggler was just placed under a 90W LED Tri-Mode 5 Band grow light, available at Advanced Garden, and seems to be doing nicely already.
